THE READING ROOM
The Reading Room’s playful design is centered around an installation commission by artist Su Blackwell. Vintage cookery books and foraging manuals sit on a bookshelf and fly out over the ceiling of the room, framing the table in a fantastical arch where the pages are transformed into culinary marvels from mushrooms to lobsters, to a train disappearing into the fireplace. The room evokes the magic that food can bring to storytelling and history in a whimsical, enchanting setting for up to eight guests. Our full menus are available in the Reading Room.
